1.Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data described here is David Camargo (trading as Dash AI). Dash AI is the name we trade under; it is not a company. For anything about your data, write to legal@dashai.work.
2.This website
The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. It loads nothing from other companies: fonts, images and scripts all come from the site itself.
It has one form, the waitlist for the hosted service. If you use it, we store your email address, the language of the page you used and the date and time you signed up. We use them only to tell you when the hosted service opens, and send you nothing else. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to legal@dashai.work.
The website stores one thing in your browser: your theme choice (light, dark or system), in local storage under the key docmyrepos-theme. It never leaves your browser. The Cookie Policy describes it.
The language is set by the address you open (/es for Spanish, no prefix for English). We store no cookie or preference for it and do not read your browser’s language settings.
Like any web server, the server that hosts the site processes your IP address and the details of each request to deliver the page and keep the service secure. We use that only for those purposes.
3.The hosted service
When the hosted service opens, we will process:
- account data from your GitHub sign-in (name, email address, GitHub username);
- the documentation of the repositories you choose, read through a read-only GitHub App, to build your portal;
- billing data for paid plans.
We handle the documentation as your processor, on your instructions, as described in the Terms.
4.Legal bases
- Consent: the waitlist.
- Contract: running the hosted service for you.
- Legitimate interest: keeping the website and the service secure.
- Legal obligation: tax and accounting records for paid plans.
5.How long we keep data
Waitlist data: 24 months, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Hosted account data: while your account is open and for 30 days after it ends, except records the law requires us to keep. Synced documentation: deleted when your account ends, and within 30 days. Server logs: only as long as needed for security.
6.Who else handles data
We do not sell your data. Providers that process it for us:
- Contabo, which hosts the servers where the website and its database run;
- Porkbun, for our domain name and for forwarding the emails you send us, and Google, whose mailbox receives them;
- GitHub, for sign-in and repository access once the hosted service opens.
7.International transfers
We operate from Colombia, and our providers may process data in other countries, such as the European Union or the United States. When data leaves your country, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, and, where the law requires it, on your authorization. By giving us your email address you authorize that transfer.
8.Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of its use, portability, and to object to its use, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Under Colombian law you can also ask to know, update and correct your data and to revoke the authorization.
Write to legal@dashai.work. We answer questions within 10 business days and requests to correct, delete or revoke within 15 business days, which also meets the one-month limit of the GDPR and the UK GDPR.
9.Complaints
Please write to us first, and we will try to fix the problem. You can also complain to Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), Colombia, or, if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, to your local data protection authority (for example the AEPD in Spain or the ICO in the United Kingdom).
10.Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if what we do with data changes, and tell you on the website before the change applies. The date at the top shows the last update. This policy is published in English and Spanish; if they differ, the English version prevails.
